DIY Terra Cotta Pot/Planter Makeover

As much as I like the all natural look of terra cotta, I really wanted the planters that would be holding my herbs this spring/summer to be one-of-a-kind.







Thank heavens for spray paint.



I first simply sprayed each planter white.


Once the white paint was dry I sprayed the rim of each plater with either gold or silver spray paint.  I kinda love the ombre effect that the gold and silver paint gave.


Finally, I planted a few of my favorite herbs.  Oregano, basil, mint, thyme and rosemary to name a few.





Man alive I can't wait to cook with these fresh herbs!!  YUM!
