Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
9:41 AM
Yields 3 Dozen - I freeze some for later :)
1 C sugar
1/2 C milk
1 C margarine
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 C mashed bananas
3 1/2 C flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 C chocolate Chips
Cream together sugar and margarine. Add bananas, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Mix wet and dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. This is how the dough should look.
Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. These cookies aren’t exactly meant to be golden brown, but rather a yellow color. However, golden brown was the way Grandpa Garner used to like them so you can always leave them in the oven a little longer to get those golden brown edges. In the pictures below, you can see that I baked one batch more yellow and another batch with golden brown edges. Both taste divine to me!

chocolate and banana are basically my favorite combo ever. I can't believe I haven't thought to try these before! I just made pumpkin choc chip cookies and have been constantly reminding myself that pumpkin is a vegetable, er fruit, er GOOD FOR YOU, so I don't feel guilty about already eating 1/2 the batch.
