DIY: Mason Jar Flower Arrangements
12:38 PM
This weekend was round two of wedding festivities. This time it was the groom's turn to host the party. We of coarse dressed up again in our fancies. If you wonder about the cute hair piece this little princess is wearing just click HERE for the step-by-step tutorial.
My mom and I were very busy with decorating and organizing all week, and all the way up to the big event. One of my favorite parts of this lovely garden open house, besides the delish ice cream, was the flower arrangements that we used as centerpieces. All the gorgeous flowers were purchased at Costco and arranged by yours truly. (**disclaimer: I am no pro at the art of flower arranging by any means, but I sure did enjoying trying out the trade.)
Costco flowers, mason jars, acrylic paint, burlap and lace was all that was needed in these simple arrangements.
You have probably seen a bazillion of these painted mason jars on pinterest. There are so many different tutorials that I wasn't sure who to give the credit to. After seeing the pictures online I just made it how I thought they may have made it.... All we did was paint the inside of the jar with acrylic paint using a small sponge brush. So easy!
It really was a lovely night.
