ReplyDeleteim going to try this out tomorrow with my kiddos. I always make cookies with them but some times the batter still feels soft and stick verses not so sticky and better to handle I mean I couldn't even use a cookie cutter lol really.. do you think that not having a mixer hand something to do with it? well tomorrow we'll see how my cookies come out....

ReplyDeleteFound you and your recipe on Pinterest....Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAny idea about using butter instead of shortening?
ReplyDeleteThey will probably be too flat and crispy if you use all butter in the cookies. I would try 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening (or even coconut oil) for the cookies. In the frosting, you should be able to do all butter.
DeleteHow many cookies does this recipe make?
ReplyDeleteHow much does it make??
ReplyDeleteMade these today and they turned out perfectly. I got 42 large cookies
ReplyDeleteWill it affect the cookie if I refrigerate it for like a day or so? I want to make the dough ahead of time so I just have to do the cut outs, bake, and frost them when I need them.
ReplyDeletehow long can i store them?
